Can you? Yes, of course you can.

But why give admissions officers even the slightest reason to turn you down for something you can control? Your essay is the one part of your college admissions experience that is in your complete control You tell them what you want them to know. You show them how amazing you are. Why would you lease that control and make your essay a cookie cutter? No matter what you may think, AI is noticed and given a black mark that will hinder, not help you.
